Judge Avery
Jackson’s past holds a dark secret. Charged with the murder of
a popular sheriff, he is sure to be convicted; everyone knows he is
guilty—everyone but him. As his lawyer probes deeper into the
case and Jackson’s unconscious, he uncovers a confluence of corruption
that may lead them to the truth—or to their own demise.

Evident” ingeniously illustrates the difficulty of pursuing the
insanity defense since I used it successfully in the Hinckley case.
People think criminals are using it to get away with murder. Actually,
lawyers are using it to protect their clients from further victimization.”
~ Vincent Fuller, Defense Attorney for John Hinckley, Jr.
The attempt
by psychiatrists working for the CIA and military to create killers
without conscience by intentionally manufacturing multiple personalities
in unsuspecting subjects is one of the most shameful abuses of power
in American history. The bluebird I discovered in my research was hardly
the one of happiness.
~ Colin A. Ross M.D., Author of “Bluebird: Deliberate Creation
of Multiple Personality Disorder by Psychiatrists” and a pioneer
in the diagnosis and treatment of dissociative disorders
A great
read. If you’re looking for psychological intrigue mixed with
courtroom drama…you’ve found your book! ‘Proof Evident’
offers a fascinating glimpse into the extraordinary challenge a defense
team faces when they attempt to protect a client against the immense
power of the state – and gives new meaning
to the term criminal prosecution.
~ Daniel
Recht, Esq., Denver Criminal and Civil Rights attorney and television
legal consultant
